EZ17 Tracked Zero Tail Excavator: Compact, powerful, and maneuverable
The EZ17 compact excavator is the most powerful zero tail excavator in its class. The large-volume diesel engine, LUDV (Load Sensing System) and an innovative cooling system provide the highest levels of performance and efficiency. The compact and durable design guarantees a long service life. The EZ17 offers the operator an unrestricted field of vision through the roof window.
Key Features
- Optimally protected stick and lifting arm cylinders: The stick and lifting arm cylinders are mounted on the upper side, so that they won’t be demolished either by colliding with the dozer blade or due to picked-up material. This minimizes the probability of damages. This saves costs on the one hand and additionally ensures safety.
- Powerful drive system with LUDV: The powerful drive system combines with a load-sensing hydraulic system (LUDV) to deliver quick working cycles, greater application flexibility, and easier control for comfortable and fatigue-free operation of the excavator. No matter what the load to be moved, the control movements on the joystick stay the same. Along with increased operating comfort, this results in a performance plus, while simultaneously reducing fuel consumption.
- Maintenance and disassembly easier than ever before: The EZ17 redefines suitability for daily use. With a 17 mm wrench, the most important components can be disassembled at the construction site and everything can be detached conveniently to reach and check easily. Maintenance and disassembly on the EZ17 is very simple. This is important for the construction site: Time is money.
- 100% zero tail: Sometimes less is more, especially in tight spaces. The excavator has no rear overhang and is ideally suited for working directly alongside walls and obstructions.
- Canopy with roof window: The canopy with roof window provides a clear view in all directions, even upward. Beside the perfect view of the work area, comfort is of great importance. This is provided by, among other things, an adjustable operator’s seat with springs, an artificial leather cover, and a safety belt.
- 2 travel speeds: The excavator is equipped with a second travel speed level as standard. This way, it can quickly switch positions on the construction site, saving valuable time.
- Hydraulic joystick operation: The ergonomic and sturdy joysticks, which work completely proportionally, expand the functions and possibilities for controlling the excavator. The operator can carry out movements more precisely and work with increased concentration.
- Easy transport by car trailer: With the car trailer to the next construction site? No problem - the low weight allows transport incl. attachment tools by means of a 3.5 t trailer.
- Numerous attachments: Thanks to the optional additional control circuits, our excavators can be equipped with a variety of attachments. This way, you can increase your application options in no time and thus increase the utilization of your excavator.
- 2 lifting lugs on the roof: The machine can be moved on the construction site very easily without problems using a crane. Also, loading and unloading the excavator from the truck can be done quickly.
